didn't want to wear these moccasins. She said, "They are so old." I asked the student to show them to me. She did. I said, "These are beautiful. Please wear them." She did. Nya:weh for that.  The beadwork on these moccasins are truly beautiful.

I wish these were mine.

To This Day Project

We went to the Sanderson Centre today for a presentation on P.A.R.T.Y. ((Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) which was initiated by New Directions. We watched this video in the afternoon. When we arrived back at school, some students wanted to know who the poet was. His name is Shane Koyczan and here is the video.
