Integers...

It seems as though everyone is getting this concept. That is good because we will begin the Order of Operations with integers very soon. Remember, there is no school on Friday or Monday. Everyone enjoy their long weekend and make good choices.

Congratulations to Cole who placed 1st in the Science Fair and Levi who placed 2nd. Well done!

A little music...

to go with our Pythagorean Theory. It was nice to have a couple of guitars in the classroom today. I want to thank Kurt and Josh for sharing a few tunes with us. You guys are pretty good so, we are all looking forward to hearing a little more from both of you tomorrow. Maybe you guys can play when we are writing, you know, to inspire us.

Kaitlyn, Markie, Levi, Timarah, Shelby, Cole and Brandon on knowing how to apply the Pythagorean Theory with no errors.

A little bit of math tomorrow and we will be all done. Whew! I bet some of you are glad about that. Anyway, remember, we have a Social tomorrow. I hope you all participate, we have some good dancers in this classroom.

Oh Pythagoras!

Why, why oh why do we have to learn this Ms. Ireland? I have heard that a lot lately. Actually, this is a theory you can apply to real life. You will get some real life problems tomorrow and it will become clear to you then.

Tomorrow we will continue on with our independent graphic novel studies. The reports were well done today so, I look forward to the same tomorrow.

One last thing, don't forget your skates for the skate-a-thon. For those of you not attending, it will be classes as usual.
